According to Merriam-Webster, a “coven” is defined as a group of people with similar interest or activities…
or as a gathering of witches that usually consists of 13 witches.
The word coven comes from the Latin word conventus, which means "assembly". It originated in the mid-1600s.
The word "witch" comes from the Middle English word wicche, which comes from the Old English word wicce.
It is related to the Old English word wīcan, which means "to yield."
The definition of “yield” is to produce or provide (a natural, agricultural, or industrial product).
The Good Coven is an inclusive space for witches, wizards, and magic makers of all kinds who’ve joined forces to yield good in the world.

We meet online, so you can be a part of our community from anywhere!
You can expect to receive email notifications about upcoming gatherings usually planned in alignment with the lunar phases or changing seasons.

WE ENVISION A FUTURE WHERE ALL BEINGS LIVE IN PEACE AND WORK IN HARMONY TOWARD THE HIGHEST GOOD OF ALL. WE INTEND TO USE OUR COLLECTIVE POWER FOR GOOD. WE KNOW THAT POSITIVE CHANGE BEGINS WITH US. WE BELIEVE IN COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITIOn. WE ROOT FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS. WE TREAT ALL LIVING BEINGS (INCLUDING OURSELVES) WITH KINDNESS, LOVE AND RESPECT. WE AREN’T AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP. WE STRIVE FOR PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION. WE LEARN FROM OUR EXPERIENCES AND GIVE THANKS FOR OUR CIRCUMSTANCES. WE EXPRESS OURSELVES AUTHENTICALLY AND SHARE OUR GIFTS WITH OTHERS.
