With a desired to amplify this message in her hometown, Shannon Chavez founded Happy Hippie Foundation PGH in 2023 and started hosting free, inclusive events to bridge gaps and build connections.

Shannon doesn’t have all the answers, but she does believe that good things happen when good people get together.

Her only hope is to spread love and kindness throughout the city of Pittsburgh, PA and beyond!
